I know it's winter and everything, but my face is getting really dry on my cheeks and around my nose and mouth. Is there another reason for this? What can I do to make it go away? I've tried this Clean and Clear face moisturizer but it doesn't help for more than a half hour.

During the different seasons, you need to use different types of moisturizer. During spring/summer -- your moisturizer should be thin; and in the fall/winter it should be thick. You could try using Cetaphil; Eucerin; Kiss My Face or Luberderm (Sp?). Or you can use a little bit of olive oil on your face, as well as your scalp! Also, you should make sure you're consuming water because your body tends to dry out in the winter. Good luck.

Be careful what you use. You could have a skin condition called Rosasia (spelling?) I worked with someone who had it, and it only showed itself during cold, windy winter months. If you do not have this, then go to some high end makeup counters like Clinique, Mac or Estee Lauder. They all have wonderful deep moisturizers.

You might want to try a mild exfoliating face wash and/or a mask before you put on a moisturizer. Also the night moisturizers are the best.

A good moisturizer helps a lot, but drinking the required amount of water each day helps hyrdrate your skin as well.

if your dry skin symptoms just started this winter, it's probably due to the weather and nothing more...

my skin gets dry too. i use a few different facial cremes from oil of olay. i like the regenerist line and it works for me, but i know they have other stuff for dry skin. it's a bit more expensive than clean & clear though... =/

Use oil of olay..but there is a condition where the skin dries out around your nose and cheeks and stuff. Look it up, I forgot what it's called. Sorry! ♥

I've found that the Aveeno Calming lotion works the best, as I have the same problem with some redness.
