As a mother I can attest that yes you can feel someelse's Hurt. When your child is heartbroken because of some guy who hurt her- a mother feels the pain too. If your son is arrested for being in with the wrong crowd at the wrong time you feel his pain.

Yes it's called empathy and it can really hurt sometimes if you don't know how to control it, but it makes people better and more compassionate and understanding.

I have compassion for those who hurt, but in many instances I cannot understand the depth of their pain.
