The majority of people in the US are slightly right of center. The Dems have won precisely three of the last ten presidential elections and one of the last seven congressional ones...each time by featuring moderates. It's been said that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and looking for different results. If so, the Dems are clearly insane, as they continue to nominate people who are simply unelectable. I hope and pray they nominate Obama. He'll get the same kind of response and support Howard Dean did in 2004: huge among the vociferous Left, non-existent among everyday voters.

I am not an Obama supporter, however he is better than anybody running from the Republican side of the meyhem.
Obama is a Christian, not a Muslem.
Senators have no experience? Since when? Bush had no experience, and look at the mess he made. Obama has more experience than Bush when he first ran.
Obama isn't a hard left liberal, he is more moderate.
The left has more to do with the American people and the American system of values than any Republican in or running for office.
Liberals wrote the Constitution, a good thing too, the right wing wants nothing more than the destruction of the Constitution, just look at Bush's disregard of it.
Tax and spend is better than no tax and spend more.
