They may not see you as much of a "lil angel" as you think, for one thing!! It sounds to me like #1 They could use a little education on the subject, yet you would help yourself by researching the Greats that were of other preferences sexually
(Alexander the Great) also let them mull over some stats that prove there are people from Eskimos to African Tribesmen that are gay. There are still millions of people all over the place, especially in this country, that think even being gay is a sickness!! #2 But I do pick up a wicked little glee in your phrase

They don't need the whole set of encyclopedias to become educated about their relative who has a secret!! Get it?? I think you should start with the most understanding and least gossiping relative and go slowly from there. Coming out is no small thing!! But lots of people are shocked to find out how many people guessed it and already loved them for real!! Do it for the understanding though, and because you need to have real love, not just love that would crumble "if they knew". That's lonely love and never feels real because it's not!! well, take a friend along with you for some emotional support. Just tell ONE at a time. Preferably mother first. If he/she frekas, just go. They will soon realize that you are their daughter and that they'll love you no matter what.

dont bother starting fights that have no point. i dont think you should hide who you are in general, but if you already know that it will end in nothing good, dont bother.
there is nothing wrong with you, it sounds like theres something wrong with them. but, you should only bring it up to them i you think you're going to be able to make them change their views about your lifestyle.

why do you need to discuss your sexual preferences with your family. If you are dating someone they should know but if it is casual leave it that way.
