If he left the airbag disconnected then light will never go out.
Otherwise only a dealer can reset the light.

You dont.
An Airbag MUST be professionally fitted.
There are certain things which must be done to make it safe.
If you have had an accident then use the insurance (thats what its for) , if not then dig deep in your pocket because the vehicle will NOT be safe without it done.

You need a dealer to check the error code which is why your light is on.You cannot do this yourself with no diagnostic tools disconnecting the battery will have no effect on your problem the fault code is already stored in your Ecu.

Try unplugging the battery over night if you just mean the light?? if you mean the airbag has gone off get to a garage!

did he drive/ start the car with the electricals disconnected??? if so you need a system reset - about £90 from a dealer - all the best ps you can do what ever you like with out turning the key!!!

Do not do this, as messing with the air bag can be dangerous for anyone that is not trained to do this, some garages will not do because of the danger and lack of training. remember there is a small explosive charge that sets off the air bag.

You cannot reset them, U must replace items such as the air-
bag itself in steering wheel. The electronic module which activates it, and the sensors in the front end of vehicle.
