How long is the comic, "The Walking Dead?"?

There's five volumes out now, with volume six coming out February 27th or so, but how many are there going to be?

Don't think theres a answer to that I remember Kirkman said as long as they sell, but he also said it went past issue 30 (or 50?) that he would put aliens in it or something. Im sure he was kidding.
