out the door or not try to do anything to get her back all in the name of pride. I heard this some where, and just wanted to know if it was true. When I say anything, I don't mean anything crazy. I just mean like saying I'm sorry, or yeah I was wrong or whatever guys normally say to make up. Is it true that because of pride some men really will let you walk out of their lives.

This is an open debate between me, and a gf.

Yes. But more than just pride is involved. Any decent man with half a brain would not let someone he truly cares about just "walk out" as you say becuase of pride. That would be the actions of person who does not want to deal with the issue and take the easy way out. The way I see it if you love something, you will do what it takes to keep it a part of you life. At least thats what I do.

YES IT IS TRUE...MY HUSBAND HAD AN EGO PROBLEM TRYING TO PROVE THAT NOTHING HURTS HIM...BUT HE HAS MOVED ON TO REALIZE WHAT IS PRIDE AND EGO. hE REALIZED HIS WIFE ( ME) IS WHAT MAKES HIS PRIDE AND EGO. PENDING ON THE MAN IT COULD TAKE 1 YEAR TO REALIZE IT OR SOME MEN NEVER REALIZE IT.
BUT IT IS A BIG PROBLEM IN THE WORLD TODAY. LIKE TH GUYS THAT ONLY SO LOVE WHEN THEY ARE ALONE WITH YOU AND NOT IN FRONT OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY, THEY DONT WANT TO SHOW THEY ARE WEAK AND TO MEN BEING IN LOVE IS WEAK, BUT REAL MEN KNOW HOW TO LOVE AND HOW TO SHOW IT.

I would say it's more EGO then PRIDE. Most men don't even know what the word PRIDE means.

I agree with previous - it's just plain stupidity and stubborn behavior. Try again when the man grows up and takes responsibility for his own actions and quits blaming others.

I would say, it depends on the man. Some are too damn proud and some will say "ok l screwed up, l'm sorry".
