I do - I love to spend a romantic evening with my husband....... dinner, movie and then "romance" after ;) Plus I love to spoil him on Valentine's as well - not the flowers and candy and stuff but tools or fishing stuff......

First let me state, I'm engaged so I'm not saying this because I'm single or anything but I think it's stupid because 1. it makes people who don't have anyone feel bad 2. it's a total hallmark holiday to make guys spend money on crap thier women don't need and puts a lot of pressure on guys to have to do something special for thier woman that day and 3. The way you (not you, but people in general) treat eachother nicely everyday accounts for a lot more than one stupid day. But that's just my opinion. I would however like to add in defense of Valentines day though that jewlery is always a nice welcomed surprise LOL

Its ok. Nothing to write home about. My hubby isnt very romantic. I wish he was. I will be lucky if he buys some flowers on the way home from work lol. + my Bday is 6 days away from Valentines day so I would rather have a nice Bday.

I love it too! I get into Valentine's day as much or more than Christmas. And I like to surprise my husband as well. But then I love romance.

For the most part I like it. I like to buy my guy presents. Same as you fishing stuff etc. but then I don't like it because my man never buys me anything. I should be used to it after 10 years but as much as I don't like flowers it would be nice to be surprised with them and maybe a baysitter for the kids and dinner. What am I dreaming about no I guess I don't like it.

You should spend every evening romanticly with your husband rather than acouple times a year.
everyday is special when you share it with someone you love. not just once a year.

No because my boyfriend hates it and he feels that he has to buy me something with is not true and he never wants anything and he just ruins it for me.
