You sound frustrated, and that is understandable. However, you are giving him the power of making you angry, and of making you think that he is always right. Do not give him that power. Remember your own power, to make decisions by yourself, and have your own opinion. I don't know who this person is, or what role he plays in your life, but it does not sound like a supportive one. If you are financially connected to him, is there a way out? Are you married, or can you escape the relationship? Is it a give and take relationship, or are you just dating? Is this your father? Are you bound by living under this person's roof, by this person's rules? Still, you are welcome to your own opinion. Saving money is a GOOD thing. Do not argue about it. Saving and investing is a good thing, no matter what. Spending money you do not have will ruin your credit score, making it hard for you to buy a home, car, or other necessities in life that you will need. Whatever your age, these things will matter. You cannot change his opinion, no matter how hard you try. Don't generalize this person's opinion to ALL men. Reasonable men do not think they are always right. A caring man listens to you, and is a companion to you. Re-think this relationship, and how to better yourself, by either saving or educating yourself by enrolling in classes to meet other people as well as perhaps getting a degree that will further your career to make more money and get you away from whatever situation you are in. Is there someone you trust that you can confide this situation to? A close friend, mentor, priest, or therapist? Can you get help? I would advise you to talk to someone who can help before you turn your anger into violence or depression. Take care of yourself, you are all you have in the world. Good luck, and God Bless you. :) P.S. I wouldn't let him spend any money you get.

Men think there right all the time because they have an ego. Try to explain to him that truth is always in the eye of the beholder. He probably won't listen, so find out what he will listen too. For example find a book on the subject and see if he will read it. Try to explain to him that the reason he wants you to save money all the time, is because thats what his parents (or whoever raised him) taught him to do. He must of got this idea from somewhere, and he has accepted it to be true.

Because its the only thing they are good at! Men charm you at first, with compliments and gifts and nights out and then as soon as your tied into a mortgage with them they treat you how they like. And then they get you pregnant. We all think they're diffrent when we first meet them but they're not. I wish there was a knight in shining armour that would come and rescue me and prove that I am wrong.

We don`t,its just that we love you guy`s(women that is)and to make you feel safe we come across as more confident than we really are in order to make you feel more secure although we`re often full of self-doubt,we try to have all the answers because we worry about you,but we don`t always say it very well cos we`re not as good with communication as yourselves. Of course some of us are just bossy power mad eedjits, but unfortunately it`s up to you to decide which one your man is,mayb that should be your nex question

Men who think that way are idiots mostly. I would spend less time with him. Men who think that way have some mental/physical issues going on as well. Do yourself a favor and not be bothered with that.

Just do what every woman does. Nod your head in agreement then do whatever you want to do. Men think they're always right because we let them think that!

Your subject and details aren't really related. 1. Because we usually are. 2. Because he's an idiot.
