You can sign up at www.paypal.com. This lets you use a credit card or your checking account number. I've used it forever and it's the safest way I could possible think of.

You may not want to use a credit card, but you may want to look into prepaid credit cards. You buy them at the store in values of 35-50-100 and maybe 200$ if I'm not wrong. And use the prepaid card to buy things online. Your name won't appear anywhere and it won't affect your credit at all. You can also link it to a Paypal account if needed.

If you sign up for a paypal account you can use your debit card. A lot places will accept a cheque or money order too. But normally it takes longer to receive your item because they have to wait for it to clear before they will ship.

If the company has COD (cash on delivery) as a shipping option you can but you will pay a premium for the service.

you can use your check card/debit card the usually visa card you get when you open your checking account. It's the same card you generally use to get money out of the MAC machine. It's automatically taken out of your checking account.
