The past few days I have been unusually tired, I am not feeling ill but feeling very drained and falling asleep in the middle of the day, even when eating or in between conversations. I am getting as good a night sleep as usual and not doing anything out of the ordinary . I can think of no explinations....any suggestion?

For my experience it could be Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Lupus, which has several forms and /or your thyroid. The first two mimic other things to and it took me four years and lots of tests to get a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. See an Endocrinologist, and a Rheumatologist. Ask for an ANA, test.
ANA, stands for anti nuclear antibodies, done when Lupus, is suspected. You may not notice any others symptoms now but, get checked out, the sooner the better. Good Luck, God bless you.

Gypsie, I have recently had blood tests for the very same, so I am going to check your answers to see if I can get any tips. I haven't got the results yet, but I know how you feel. Two weeks ago I went to bed at 8.00 and slept all of that night and through to the next day and night!!!! And I was still dozy.

Agree with Suel .Get a blood test to be on the safe side.It may just be simple anaemia.Get some fresh air and what sunshine you can.Central heating and the effects of winter can be very draining.

Mono, infection, or depression. If this continues, you should go see a doctor for a blood test to rule the first two out.

Eat healthier and exercise. Maybe you have mono, or you're just really bored.
