what is a good but inexpensive webcam to purchase? Is there anything I should look for when buying one? If so what? I would like to purchase one but I am undecided on what one a $19.99 one or a $29.99 one. Is there a big difference as far as price?

go for a logitech webcam, the most expensive one you can afford.
logitechs are stable, work great, and are priced very reasonably.
ones that advertise 640x480 native resolution are good. (note: do not settle for 640x480 "software enhanced" resolution)

Dont waste your money on some generic off brand 20 dollar camera! I have gone thru at least 15 different webcams and Logitech reighns supreme! You wont find ANY other webcam with comparable features!
