Some women respond this way to the shot, but that should have happened four years ago when you started taking it. Now, you should be checked for urinary tract infection or VAGINAL INFECTION. Both can cause the sudden onset of the symptoms you have related but sounds like Gardinerella to me. Look up symptoms of bacterial vaginal infection. I would suggest calling your MD.

My periods stopped after taking the depo shot. I had horrible symptoms like cramping, excessive sweating, headaches, moodiness, and I gained a ton of weight (30lbs in 1 month). Even after I stopped taking the shot I had a lot of symptoms like my period was going to start but it didn't start again until 9 months after my last shot.
If I were you, I'd probably call the doctor. If these symptoms started recently and you've had no problems for most of the 4 years, this may signify an issue now and it may not necessarily be because of the shot.

I also have the depo and have been for about 6 years. I have only had one period on holiday of all times, I experienced severe sweating too at the same time. I think it was the change of climate. Anyway, the depo stops your period, your doctor should have told you. I wouldnt worry about the discharge but do get it checked out incase. I occassionly feel like I have slightly done a wee but it is a browney discharge passed through. Do see your doctor though. Good Luck

I'd call the dr any unusual symptoms that you normally don't experience should be a concern. You could be pregnant or have some kind of infection. Usually when you get crampy though and have lots of clear fluids down there it's due to ovulation but you aren't supposed to ovulate on depo.

sweetie...its probably nothing to worry too much about, but I would DEFINITELY go see your doctor...you may need to come off the shot or change methods of birth control. Its none of my buisiness, but I think the shot is really a bad idea...too many side effects and you have to have a period once in a while! Its only natural! But youll be fine just at least call & tell them whats goin on ok?

because you have been on the shot for so long your body will take time to correct itself, thats if your off of it now. it's natural reaction to have a period but if your not bleeding it is still possible to shed you inner lining without bleeding, it may come out in chucks or just when you pee without any blood. check with your Dr. it may be time to try another type of BC if you are having these problems, let your body clear up and get back on track.

I have no experience with the Depo, but, sounds like a great idea to call your doctor and see him or her right away. At any rate it would be a good idea get it checked out asap.

I honestly don't know anything about the shots. I would suggest you contact the doctor's office and ask them questions over the phone or go in for an appointment.

DEPO nearly KILLED ME! Horrid stuff - should be off the market by now. Been off for almost 8 years now, I have never been the same!
