What did you truly expect them to say or to react?

Only time can mend/heal the relationship now.

If this is the case and you actually are gay, there is not much you can do.

Give them a while to mull it over, then try talking to them about it.

Your sexuality is not changing, only their attitude, so other than a lot of heart to heart discussions with them - there is not much you can do.
