It's called the Mosquito ringtone.

It's not exactly true that "teachers can't hear it, but kids can."

The range of human hearing is about 20 Hertz to 20,000 Hertz. The mosquito ringtone is a sound near the upper limit of that range. As people age, or as their hearing is subjected to abuse (loud concerts, headphones turned up too loud, etc.), their hearing will generally deteriorate and they will lose the ability to hear those high frequencies. Most teenagers' hearing is still intact enough to hear the ringtone.

What this means is that you have a better chance of getting away with using this in classes that have older teachers. I'm sure there are a lot of younger teachers that will still be able to hear the sound.

Its Called the mosquito ringtone.
it emits a high pitched sound of around about 17 ghz, meaning that adults cannot hear as they have a different hearing range to children.
however, do not bother paying for it, it doesnt work on most people. both my mom and my dad could hear it, and i had the phone confiscated because the teachers at school heard it.

Yes yes, there is a cellphone ring that supposedly can only be heard by young kids...but i remember a local radio show trying it out and everyone could hear it quite well.
