he wasn't a teenager but a grown man of 47 me 30 ish so its not as if we whee a couple of teenagers

Sucks huh? If I could go back and bottle my virginity til I was married, I so would. Don't let this be a stopping stone for you girl. Pick up your diginity and know that you deserve better than that. And don't feel alone - you are not the first and will not be the last lady to experience a feeling of hurt and shame imposed by a lame man. At least you waited 7 months though! That's really good!!! Maybe next time you should hold off until you are completely ready and sex is something that you want to do for you ... not to please someone else. Or you could always just wait til your married to have sex again ... that would probably be your best option!

I don't think you did anything wrong and it's possible that that's all he really wanted but I doubt it. Most guys won't go out with a girl for 7 months just to get into her pants. But then again... a male's mind is a very complex and confusing thing.
Best thing I can say is just try to forget about him and move on. Find a new guy or enjoy being single.

I'm sorry to hear that but you just have to move on and I hope you don't let this bad experience get in the way of true happiness and you finding the right person. I don't think you did anything wrong as he is the one who used you, don't even think about it, just go on with your life and find someone better.
I guess better judgement doesn't always increase in age as he did something like this and then walked away from you. You'll find someone better though to treat you with respect and love you the way you should be loved.

It's a part of life baby. It sucks I know and I hope it wouldn't have been that way for you. Some men are scumbags and that;s all they want is sex. Once they are done with you they will move on. Take care and I hope you use that as a learning experience. Maybe next time just wait longer. If they guy really cares and loves you, he will wait with you.

i don't see any thing wrong that you did. that's a silly question.but if the guy dumped you that's coz he is a dump himself ! its good that such a looser did you a favor by dumping you, because if he did so without telling you a reason,he is not worth your love,affection,passion and respect.look at it this way good riddance to bad rubbish and move on in your life. i know it must hurt you like hell but you have to get over it and look around as the right guy out there is looking for you too - muah !

thats a hard lesson to learn and you did good to wait 7 months - but some guys just like the chase....bragging rights, dont take it too personally, everyone looses their virginity sometime, and it wasnt anything you did that run him off...he sounds like an immature punk, and you can do alot better...just consider it - lesson learned and dont not trust the next guy because of what this jerk did...they are not all bad

We don't know if you did anything wrong, we weren't around at the time. However, these things happen sometimes. Just work through it and move on. Sorry you got your feelings hurt, it's definitely not any fun.

Im not trying to be a jerk, but it was probably not worth the wait. Guys are like that. At some point you became a conquest to him, not just a girlfriend. I would not be surprised if there was someone he was sleeping with while he was waiting.
