My daughter is 6 and we are having such a problem with bangs or no bangs. she starts to grow them out and then they hang in her eyes, she doesn't like to pull it back the same everyday and she won't wear headbands. they just fall out! I can't stand seeing bangs in her eyes. I love the look of bangs on her. I am not a fan of the forehead showing but if she wants to I will let her grow them out. She today wants to cut them! It seems with bangs grown out all the girls her age, look the same. they all pull it back and there is nothing different. My question is should I insist that she grows them out so she isn't different or let her cut them and not be following what everyone else is doing?? Thanks.

Let her have some say in her own style

If she doesn't want them it's ok to have her bangs cut.

though I don't think you should let HER cut them.

Let your daughter make a choice of her own and be patient enough when she wants to try something else in no time.
