me anf my bf of 3 yrs have had lotts of arguments throughout our relationship?

Last Tue I was talking to him and he was ignoring me after asking him whats wrong trying to talk he raises the music on top of my talking so i felt disrespected so i tried to stick up for myself so i told him 2 beat it we have these fights a lot the Prob is that when it happens 3 out of 5 times we wont talk for days/weeks/mnths at a time I obviously realize this is not healthy or normal but at the same time i love him too much to leave for good everytime we talk about it everything is ok then it happens again down the line and frankly im tired of almost alyways being the one to call him any man that really loves their women would call wouldnt they?? god this is emotional torture i dont know how much longer i can take this everytime this happens i feel horrible because on top of all my other stress in my life its hard i am depressed stay home watch tv after i work my sched is really tough workin f/t goin to college f/t he works 7 days a week so we have a lot on our plates.. please help

IF U LOVE HIM TELL HIM THAT U WANT A LITTLE BRAKE MAYBE U MIGHT FIND A BETTER PERSON WHO WILL TREAT U WITH RESPECT OR MAYBE U COULD ASK HIM 2 GO 2 COUNILING !

i AM crying reading your question. I feel the same way, you answered my question, and now I know I am not alone.

How can a guy say he loves you but will not talk to you to resolve the problem?
I have been so sick to my stomach, nervous, and what not.
If he doesn't want to be with me, I guess I will get over it.
But it's that not knowing that kills you.

I think maybe you two have grown apart, it happens in alot of relationships.(present company included)

as much as it sucks, it seems like you should go your separate ways. We as humans are the only ones in the animal kingdom that will constantly run our heads into a wall, knowing the outcome ,and still continue to do it.

I am beginning to think after my 2 1/2 years, that it is my only option also.

BKGRL, the fact is that you are living a nightmare. You and your boyfriend need to take the relationship seriously if you are to remain together.

You need to talk about your communications problem. Communication is everything. It is a miracle that you are still together when you can't even talk.

If the two of you REALLY love each other, and I do hope you do, you will overcome the problems you are experiencing as a couple.

...this will only stop when you decide to love and respect yourself. It can't be love what's between you. Enjoy life and what it has to offer you, don't stay at the sofa crying and wondering why? why? why?.... the answer is simple... because you let him too. You have the choice in your hands! this is a total power struggle, and get counselling or it is never going to improve, as you both are trying to be in charge and run the whole show.

Dump him. If you think it's bad now, why would furthering the relationship or even marrying him make it better?
