Haha...tacky no. People I doubt really care either way. My husband and i got married on Valentines, 4 years ago. It was good. Maybe less of a turnout because people didn't want to give up their evening to come to our reception, but it was still good. It kinda sucks also becuase then Valentines and your anniversary are celebrated on the smae day, intsead of having two seperate special days. I don't know. I wouldn't do it again....but it's not tacky.

I wouldn't call it tacky. It might inspire a few eyerolls for being unimaginative - "Oh look, a national holiday dedicated to mushy romantic feelings, let's get married THEN!" - but it's not tacky. Tacky would be announcing your engagement at your grandma's funeral because that would surely cheer people up!
The snark in me says to set your wedding date sometime that is not too close to either Valentine's Day, Christmas (or equivalent holiday for you) or your birthday. That way it's an extra gift each year! =P

Who cares if it's typical? If that's the day you want to marry on then go for it! If you're responsible enough to be getting married in the first place then you should be grown enough not to care what anyone else thinks - especially about the date!

Ummmm. properly, in case you probably did it in Vegas on Valentines then i could say specific. yet heavily, it is in no way cheesy to get married in case you fairly love eachother, no rely whilst. so some distance as shade combinations, any spring colorings could seem large. easy blues, or violets. My suggestion: head on over to a greenhouse (in the previous it is crammed with pink roses) and seem on the flowers. This time of year yellows and purples are in, as such are maximum stunning/shiny colorings. purely because of the fact it fairly is Valentines Day would not advise it fairly is all pink and pink. Use your mind's eye! perfect of luck to you and yours interior the destiny.

Great plan, then it is easier to remmeber the anniversay. Anyway even if you did forget, you could find something cool for valentines day and say it was for the Aniversary. If you still forget Valentines Day and your anniversary than there is no hope for you./

Tacky, no. The day you choose is the day that will mean the most to you both.He would never be able to say he forgot your Anniversary on that day....That would be a plus..

I don't think so cause Valentines day is the day of love and a day for buying flowers and heart shaped candies or gifts and I think it would be very sweet to be married on Valentines day. That would be a nice way of showing your love for one another so go for it.
