Does anyone know the proper steps to install a program in a LAN?
When you install it in a pc, it will be installed on all the other computers connected to you as well.

Unless the program you are installing is one that has an option to do that, you can't. Normally the program has to add files to windows/system32 and other places, as well as update the registry. Installing it on a server does not do any of that to the individual PCs. Some programs have a special install for servers, and then a different, smaller install for the PCs that adds the needed files and registry entries. But not all programs allow that.

Not clear if you mean "over" or "in".
You can install things to all PCs in a LAN if the setup "Pushes" out apps to all PCs based on a Group Policy. This can also be optional ( kind of like the MS Optional downloads). The key thing is if the PCs verify to a central servert, or wether they just use LAN resources...

No it would only be installed on that pc .
