No I don't think that would be a wise decision. If you are a temporary worker then it would be better to wait until your 6 months contract has ended then when (if) they are going to make you a permanent member of staff, use the opportunity to ask for an increase. Right now being tempoary is basically an evaluation of the way you work. Asking for a raise in the middle of your current contract will probably prove to be a bad thing for you to do.

If you signed a 6-month contract at a certain rate, then it's not reasonable to expect a raise during that time if it's not in the contract. If they want to renew it at the end, it's perfectly appropriate to ask then.

I wouldn't. 3 months is not long enough to prove you are worth more money. Maybe when you renew your contract you can sell them the idea of a raise.
