As a writing teacher I find that my students are always looking for an "easy" subject to write about. I tell them that is the wrong way to go about it because they will have few if any good ideas to go into their paper. Rather than look for an "easy" subject, pick a subject you are interested in and want to communicate about. That way you will find the project interesting. Do you have favorite actor, music group, political issue that YOU are interested in. That is the sensible topic. No one else can give you a sensible topic. You have to figure that out yourself. If this is a class assignment, sit down with your teacher and talk it over with him/her. The teacher is there to help you.

A page that Describes your Local area, gives info on cool sites of interest, and ways to get around, give info for varying budgets; kind of like a Basic or more overview of your area, and a tourist type guide to the best places, describe for Club people, People with Historic type interests, and so on
