idk if im the only one who noticed this but on the first part of the premiere fayed says for bill and curtis to HANDCUFF him to the grate. but then they show up ten minutes later and open the handcuffs WITH A KEY and take him away. my question: HOW DID THEY HAVE THE KEY TO THE HANDCUFFS?

Most luggage locks work with the same key and handcuffs are the same thing. Otherwise during a prison transfer one deputy would be running to another for this set of keys and that set of keys.

I thought I saw them move toward the handcuff lock in a motion that suggested they had a key for the cuffs. Plus, he convinced them to give him access to their security protocols and surveillance, so getting his hands on a handcuff key doesn't sound like a tough task for a man with his craftiness.

I prefer the later handcuff scene, the one where Jack fakes his own death, then disables one of the guards using his teeth, fishes in the guard's closest pocket with his fingers, finds the handcuff keys and frees himself!
The writers should be proud of their use of the handcuff motif.

they used handcuff keys they are pretty universal, you can also use a paper clip too..(don't ask how i know this ; ) ) also can you believe curtis is dead?! some are saying he's not and some are saying he is but i read that the actor was only making a guest appearance for the first two shows.....sad i really like curtis and was very disappointed in jack when he shot him..
