HAHAHA!! They always glamourize everything on television. You should know this. Goodness. That is not what it is like in the real world. Wake up and smell the coffee. You don't get into Medicine because you might think it is exciting and fun, but rather have a true love of helping those that are hurt and sick. You also have to go thru quite a few bedpans, crap, and junk before you even get to where you can remotely enjoy what you are doing. It is hard work getting thru school- long grueling hours in your internship and a long time before you get to a point where you can specialize. Also with any other job you will always have to deal with the human factor and even more so with being a doctor. Now mind you I am not discouraging you because it can be a very rewarding job if you truly have a love to do that type of work, but it doesn't come without a lot of sweat and tears.

No unless you are a freak of some sort. I dont think TV can make you do anything- you have to be dumb enough first by yourself...
