Life changing attitude and outlook.....as you term sense. is a result of integrity and action.

Integrity, the act of knowing and being truthful with oneself is the basis of clarity, self worth and meaningful direction in life. It is all that we have that is truly ours. Once integrity is compromised we are left to the devises of rationalization which results in diminished self worth, doubt, and confusion. Giving way to these things in our live encourages us to make decision to be seen in a better light by others because we no longer believe in are are able to stand on our own integrity.

Take a step back. evaluate who you are, what brings lasting joy, not just fun, but lasting joy to your life, act on that thing to make it a larger part of your life, buy being true to yourself you will find joy, calm, and clarity to make further decisions that move you forward in your path of progression. That is "sense".

It has been my past experience that when I "give up" or see no other outcome is when the answer usually comes to me. Maybe it's time to just sit back & regroup. Do some soul searching. If you can't think of the best course of action don't take action just for the sake of doing something. Wait until things become more clear to you. The best life-changing advice I ever received was from the Bible. Gods rules are always there for our safety & our best interest. Life cannot be fully understood or enjoyed until we know who we are and why we are here.

You could try going to somewhere like Afghanistan and living off shrubs and old shoes for a while - that should make you a little more savvy. Alternatively, backpacking anywhere is good. Never leave anything valuable on show in hostels (like my friend who 'hid' her new laptop under the bed... duh) and never think the girl in the strip club/guy who's rubbing up too close to your bag is just being nice. Once you've got that, there's not much else to know.

Use more logic than emotions to have more 'sense'. Stand back and look at your situations and ponder on what you would tell someone else to do in the situation.

I believe sense is a matter of experience. It takes patience and a desirous mind to get more of it.

It is called growing up. As you mature, provided you do not seek to "just let yourself go and allow you mind to wonder", you will gain knowledge and experience.

Keep being concerned about your personal development, you have won half the battle!
