Can you collect unemployment compensation if you are receiving Severence pay in Pennsyvania?

I am losing my job due to the company closing this office, I am promised a severence package. Can I also collect unemployment at the same time or do you wait until the severence runs out?

yes you can, as long as you are not working you can get unemployment, no matter how much severance they gave you.

You have to wait till the severence ends. If you apply and claim the severence they will deny you.
