well the honor system doesnt work, thats for sure.

1) contact your county court; ask for the child support office. they will be able to tell you exactly what you need to do.

2) you will go to court, and more then likely a DNA test will be ordered. when he is proven the father, a child support amount will be set up (they go on both parents incomes and how many children are on the case).

here is the calculator; just click on your state and fill it in. its to give you a general idea as to what will paid, not an exact amount.

3) if you are on assistance (social services), ask your caseworker how to start the paperwork on child support. they handle all of it, and will let you know when to appear in court.

i dont know how far back they will go (or even if they will) for every state is different (slightly) about child support guidelines. but here is some links that may help with any other questions you may have; just click on your state and find the section you need. some are just helping sites.

Yes you can! I don't know if they can enforce a foregin order (ask) but you definately can start collecting now! Go to your local county child support agency and apply for services. Make sure you have his address, employer if you know it and any other info you have. A picture would be awesome! Go ASAP as they can get support back to the date you requested it (unless of course they will honor the German order). GO FOR IT! Here is a link to the CSA's. Click on your state and get more info--you may even be able to file on line!

new child help and custody are 2 distinctive subject concerns. the two must be courtroom ordered. considering that your father exchange into courtroom ordered to pay new child help on your mom, that's what he's doing. considering which you mom exchange into granted custody of you by using yet another courtroom order, you reside along with her. in case you % to stay with your father, and your mom isn't prepared to allow you to achieve this, he could opt to bypass returned to courtroom and petition that the unique ruling giving your mom custody be overturned. to establish that that to succeed, he could ought to coach that living with your mom is a risk on your life and protection. So no, you asserting you do unlike your mom (as all infants your age do faster or later) won't make a decide overrule an present day custody order.
