Well,
Let me tell you,
What do you need the laptop for? If you are going to keep it all the time at home then get it... however, if you are thinking about taking it to school or work then get one that would lighter and have a smaller screen.
I have a laptop with that screen size, however, I feel like it is too bulky and big. Like I would feel more professional if I had a 13.3 or 12.1 monitor size laptops, since they are easier and a lot better looking and you don't need that much of a space.
However, if you purchase it from NEWEGG and please do, since they are a lot cheaper, low shipping and no taxes, then you are getting a very good deal for 900$. Intel Duo is a good processor. Good enough storage... only drawback for me is the screen size...
Now, pay 200 more and get this one:

or this one

same thing and very easy on the eye professional looking and of course it is SONY!!!

There are multiple F3F models. Which one are you interested in?
All of them seem to have intel integrated graphics. They won't be great for games.
I applaud you for choosing ASUS. I love mine and did a LOT of research before going with them.
Here's one that seems to be a particularly good deal right now:
