We have a big problem at the moment, unfortunately for so many of us British. We have to follow the government, lead by the bigest liar on the planet, without any say in the matter. He made us all believe in "WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION" and as such we followed like Lemmings, yes we were all fooled by Pinky and Perky. It was quite a while before it started to dawn on people they weren't going to find any "WOMD" by then we were in another war.
How much has that cost us taxpayers in both our countries, in money, and what about the terrible loss of life, and lives torn apart by that pair of scumbags? And verbal diarrhoea continues to spew from their mouths daily. All we can do is vote when the time comes, but then so many don't bother too, or they stick with this lot, no matter how much we are stitched up.
Now we have to look forward to a change at the top, not by our choice, but because they say so. Brown has taken us all to the cleaners in every way possible, he has taxed us all almost into oblivion. When he takes over at the top God help us.
If we were a bit more like the French, this may well be a better place to live, if they don't like something they bring the country to a halt over night.

Sections of the British populace complain about America and its policies. It is our leaders that follow America like a demented poodle. That is a very big difference, it's like saying all Americans are like George W. Bush.

Americans complain about Americans, my kind has been in America since the beginning and I'm probably English myself.
Considering America is basically a English colony I like hearing their input, England and Canada is our closest friends so there is no harm done.
We are as brothers, we can give each other a hard time but don't come between us.

One T, their instead of there.
And we don't but our stupid bloody politicians do.
Unfortunately not enough people - especially of those that whinge on here about poiticians - even bother to vote to make a change, so the same old policies get pursued no matter which party is in power.

Because, since World War II, the Brits have been economically dependant on America and have no real power anymore.
