on the back of the birth certificate it should tell you how to change the name or maybe call a notary or legal aid will help you get the proper papers to do that.. there shouldn't be a problem with changing his name to your name since there is no paternity established if i remember from your other post and even if there is paternity established there is nothing that says the child has to have the fathers name anyway..

A broken femur is the sign of physical abuse.
That was reason for leaving him and removing his custodian rights.
His commitment to you , that's another matter.

Whomever's name listed as the baby's father on the child's birth certificate will have to sign all rights away before you can do that.
But once you do that you will not be able to get child support from him.

I hope you are leaving soon. You should have left 7 mos ago when the baby's leg broke due to lack of supervision....To answer your question...Yes you can change the last name...you will need to go to your local family courthouse and file the paperwork, there is a fee to do this.

even as i became in grade college my call became replaced some cases even as my mom became in her "i will marry some bums" level. it became by no ability criminal, although the colleges had no project replacing john smith to john doe and my acquaintances concept it became tremendously humorous. perchance now issues are more effective strict with each of the laptop information and what no longer, i somewhat do not understand. I even ought to say that i'm grateful my call wasn't legally replaced. my birthname is my lineage for more effective perfect or worse, and that is component of who i'm and the position i come from. i overcame my previous and there became something about restoring honor to my call that became major to me. desire the answer facilitates in some regard.

Doesn't change anything. You cannot change the child's name without a court order and they will not order the name change without consent of the father!

Changing the child's name won't erase who his father really is!
