We all know that they need the money to fix the superdome, but at what expense, we know that NO couldn't win if it were not fixed!
Oh ya.........in the NFL it's all about the money

If the NFL were fixed, the Chiefs would be going to the Superbowl over the death of one of the most prominent sports figures of the last century, Lamar Hunt.

Furthermore, the NFL is run like a business, but if you're talking about dirty money determining the outcome of games. Look no further than the BCS. How is it that Boise State went undefeated and took none of the top 3 bowl games? Its because USC, Ohio State and the like give more money to the BCS. Convenient, no?

One could also argue that the Patriots only that Superbowl title several years back against the Ram is because of freaking 9/11 & the concept of being Patriots is just what the American pp want. I buy more into that than this crap you're feeding right now. Because Patriot sucks, for some reason, they just happen to play a team at their worst performance. However, back to your theory, if it was a fix, I would imagine they would allow the Saint to win the Superbowl the year Katrina hits, not wait 'til now. Then, have you even sit down & watch the Saint plays? Drew Brees + Reggie Bush + Deuce McAllister = a hell of a team, even when they lose, the game they play is still freaking awsome. No, I'm not a Saint fan, I'm actually ruthing for Chicago this weekend anyway, but it pisses me off that you don't think they deserve the spot they're in right now... They freaking earned it...

I'd love to know what team you're a fan of...I hope you don't say the Eagles.

The NFL is far from being fixed. The Giants, Jets, or Redskins should've won after 9/11 (it ended up being the Patriots, which I guess is ironic too), the Giants should've won after Wellington Mara died, the Chiefs should've won after Lamar Hunt died..I could go on and on.

Take it for what it is, a feel-good story and something desperately needed to raise the spirits of people of the Gulf South.

The NFL is a business and will make money no matter who wins the super bowl. Lets see the Patriots win in 2001 and a second rate team with a second rate draft pick comes out of nowhere to be one game away. Sounds familiar. I have no answer really.

What does fixing the staduim have to do with their performance? The NFL didn't draft players or make any of the free agent signings, the Saints did.

If SD didn't draft Bush, Colston, drop Brooks and sign Brees, they would be middle of the pack....again. You're totally delusional.

You are an idiot. Did the NFL tell Houston to pass on Reggie Bush. Did the NFL tell all other teams to pass on Marcus Colston for 7 rounds. Did the NFL tell Saban to take Culpeper over Brees. The Saints have constructed the most dominant offense in the League right under peoples noses. Sean Peyton is a genius and the Saints are the real deal, you will see, you crying little punk. WHO DAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can tell your not very smart.... How would New Orleans have the number one offense? Did the NFL tell every defense New Orleans faced to go easy on them? Why didn't the NFL fix the MVP to make Brees the MVP? See you are just pissed.

Undoubtedly you haven't been watching any New Orleans games. If you had you would know that they have played pretty well all season long, doesn't hurt when your quarterback throws over 400 yards a game. Oh and by the way "WHO DAT"?

I think there are some NFL people in Chicago that don't think that is OK with them.

I think you need to adjust your underwear because it is too tight and as a result, blood is not getting to your brain.
