Or sirens. I hate when the TV sirens wake me up and scare me.

This has yet to happen to me, but I think I would like it because it would mean I could go back to sleep. Unless I'm waiting for a phone call that doesn't come, then it pisses me off when it rings on tv and I think it's mine...

Yes. Last week I feel asleep with the TV on. The show "Saved by the Bell" came on. The opening credits a school bell rang. I woke up real fast thinking I was still in school.

Yes, I do hate that. I also hate taking a nap, waking up and thinking you have to go to school/work. I've done it a couple times, where I freak out, and then find out it's like 7 pm not 7 am.

That's never happened to me, but (and this isn't really funny) but when my husband got back from his first deployment, he'd fall asleep watching TV A gun would fire, or there'd be an explosion, on TV and he'd jump about 10 foot in the air. I always felt so bad for him afterwards!

Yeah, and how about when you're driving and you hear a siren in a song and think it's the cops behind you?
