I need some good lawyers..but I am pretty broke. I just want the legal seperation started now..where/how do I start?

no need to file. Most states recognize legal seperation as living apart with no spousal rights for a year or more. Go to the state's family court website or to the nearest family court and ask for the form need for filing for legal seperation, if they say it doesn't exist then you don't need it. If they tell you the form number, they will also tell you where to get a blank copy. fill it out and turn it in. No need for a lawyer.

A seperation agreement is part of a divorce. If you are not filing yet you will not need this until that time frame.

If there are kids involved GET A LAWYER!

Im from Dayton.....Im no expert on divorce but I do know that a seperation agreement is the first thing done in a divorce.....your best bet if you can get him to agree is to try for a dissolution of marriage...if he would agree to that I know that some counties have a packet of paperwork you can file yourself...good luck

Ever thought of going to county clerks office, I hear they do alot of official legal stuff there.
