Check out all the new evidence on YouTube. There never has been a steel building that collapsed from fire. Aviation fuel burns at utmost 1200 degrees. It takes over 2700 degrees to weaken steel. Check it out. It looks more and more like a despicable lie to generate fear and support for an illegal war.

It certainly was planned by somebody, and there are so many questions unanswered, like why was Silverstein able to "pull" WTC 7 with only a few hours notice? It takes days to plant explosives in a building that size.

2007-01-16 04:27:47 · update #1

According to the actual designers the WTC was built to withstand multiple strikes from full-size aircraft full of fuel. Remember it had a massive central core of 47 steel beams. If anything they would have stood when the rest collapsed. Also many people on the scene including New York firemen heard explosions from the buildings BEFORE the planes hit.

You are one sexy beast, baby!

Why can't any one open their mind and ask a logical question without being criticised and persecuted??

The guy just brought up a good point, but some of you are so vulnerable that you won't open your eyes to POSSIBILITIES...Just POSSIBILITIES. He isn't saying that it was really planned by our Gvt, but is our govt so innocent? I dont think so. Get off your high-horse and crawl back into YOUR cave. Thats where youve been if you have a pocket full of "thumbs-down" for people who aren't narrowminded and airheaded!

You go GRINNNER BAABBBYYY!!!!!!!!!!

Idiot. You should research the properties of steel before you attempt to be a metalurgist. The critical temperature for steel is about 550C, above this temperature structural steel weakens considerably. This temperature is easily reached in an office fire, and the sustainted high temperarture of the burning jet fuel was more than adequate to compromise the integrity of the frame. Given the fact that a great many columns were torn away by the plane, it didn't require much heat damage to weaken the remaining columns sufficiently to collapse.

Iron-framed buildings are vulnerable to collapse due to fire, as was discovered early in the history of iron front buildings. As a result, all modern construction requires the steel framing to be protected by the application of spray insulation. For this reason, simple office fires generally do little damage to steel structures. Although the insulation is usually rated for only an hour or two of intense fire: this is usually enough time to quench the flames. However, it's perfectly plausible that the force of the jet crashing int the WTC compromised much of the insulation on the affected floors: if you ever have the opportunity to examine steel framing, you will find that the insulation is very brittle. Even if this wasn't the case, the insulation would only protect for a short time.

The buildings survived the crash of the airliners. This was an amazing validation of the design. For all the drama, just about everyone who could have been saved, was saved.

Find something else to occupy your mind.

I believe what I saw with my own eyes. I was wide awake and watching when the 2nd plane flew into the building. My eyes were glued to the set for the next several hours. I watched those towers collapse. No one is going to get me to buy into any conspiracy theory that involves the United States. We did not do this to ourselves.

Ask some living firemen if its unusual for there to be explosions in a massive fire?

But a normal building on fire never had a 100 ton jet aircraft smash in to it at 500 mph. Plus the world trade center height ratio was several times that of it's base area compared to normal high rise buildings thus making it more collapsible when it's support structures failed and the massive weight above come down on the supports structures below.
A normal steel frame building caught alight from a trash can fire can hardly compare.
Show me one single building that has had a heavy commercial aircraft hit it that has still stood.

Why the reality check reasonings clears Bush.
The planning time this involved would of meant that Clinton was the baddie President. He had to talk at least 19 Saudi Arabians to agree to hijack planes and make them appear to fly to New York and Washington by radar. Get Bin Laden to admit he done something he was never part of and be on the run. Get passengers on the plane to lie on their phones to their loved ones. All air traffic controllers then had to turn a blind eye as planes and passengers disappeared off somewhere never to be seen again by anyone (Where?)
Heck I could go on all day with this but the truth is we don't have to. A small group of people will believe anything you cannot win with them - aliens, flat earth, fake moon landings. Someone only has to say that World War II to never happened it was a conspiracy even though film footage and war graves existed people would be taken in by the conspiracy story over the truth.
People want conspiracy they like their ears tickled.
Everything these days has a conspiracy story it is like nothing happens just because it happened it has to be something else.
It is mad.

The ability for working steel to hold its strength is greatly reduced around 600 degrees. And what was so illegal about the war in Afghanistan and terrorism in general? I assume you really mean the war in Iraq which really had little to do with 9/11.

You conspiracy theorists are a joke. The government is always out to get you, not the terrorists.

And yet another one crawls out from under his rock, so willing to believe 9-11 was an "inside job" by our own government.

So lets look at it this way....this same government you think masterminded and orchestrated the attack is the same government you people accuse of being too inept and stupid to do anything else right? Is that not correct?

EDIT: One more thing to consider here. Why would whoever committed this terrible act against us bother with controlled demolition to cause the buildings to fall nearly straight down?
With that technology you can make a building fall in any direction, thus killing even more people and causing even greater damage than what actually happened.

You are dismissed. Again.

If a nation wants to go to war, there is no need to kill its own people. If you weak-minded liberals really think this was done by your own government, why hasn't the likewise liberal media, and Congress jumped on this? Why hasn't anyone come forward yet with proof and names? If it was blown up, why bother with the planes? Just blow it up and blame it on terrorists, simple enough. Why do the web sites that believe the conspiracy theory list only liberal Bush-haters? Would you believe it was a conspiracy if you heard the DNC was possibly behind it? Then there is always common sense to contend with.

You conspiracy theorists are laughable. You SAW two planes crash into the towers, and as each floor gave way the one above pancaked down until neither building could stand. You SAW footage of the Egyptian boarding the plane in Boston, the very same plane that was flown into the Towers. You SAW Osama take credit for it. You have heard the Muzzies declare their hatred of us and their willlingness to destroy us, and you still insist on blaming our government. You are either so full of **** you are going to explode, or you believe the idiot media, who by the way would all be in jail were this World War Two.

I believe the Towers came down because we were attacked.

Steel melts at about 2400 degrees (not 2700), but its tensile strength is seriously weakened by 1500 degrees. Jet burns at 1500 degrees, not 1200 degrees.

You have absolute no understanding of material science. You should shut your mouth and stop spreading lies.

2007-01-16 04:55:37 · answer #9 · answered by Arthur M 4 · 8 1

Your wrong. Steel will weaken at less than 500 degrees. You don't have to melt it. All it had to do was weaken it until the bolts to pull through the beam.

hmmm. Maybe you are right....nope! you are wrong.

Don't disrespect the nearly 3000 people who were murdered that day with your ridiculousness!

The planes hit the buildings, creating a high heat blaze, weakening the core of the building until the top floors gave way...this caused a "pancaking" of one floor on top of the one beneath it...causing too much weight and force on the supports to hold.

That is it.
