He did not learn his lesson from Iraq!
Every time we meddle somewhere it comes back to bite us in the rear + costs us money + makes people hate us.
But Bush thinks he is in charge of policing the world and creates enemies for us in the name of keeping us safe (the irony)

You have something wrong in your question. No one that I know of thinks Clinton assaulted Somalia. Clinton's failure in Somalia was a failure of omission. He failed to support the peace keepers which were sent there. Clinton did assault Sudan. He attacked an aspirin factory. But he had to get the news media off of the credible rape allegations. What better way to change the subject? No, the Democrats are playing partisan politics with the security of the USA and the lives of our servicemen and women. Just like they did in the 70s.

If you are thinking of Clinton then its because they wanted to the get the leader out of the country because his people are guns but not food. And not everyone in Somalia was violent, and those people were starving and getting killed by the violent ones. They wanted to get the man that was in rule out and put in his son who was not and cruel and violent, his son actually went to college in California.
