What's the best way to practice for rap battles?

I got this idea from KRS-One. He once said that he writes a battle rap for every emcee who has a top ten rap song using that emcees beat. It helps me keeps my blades sharp, but I also have like 20 classic tracks I freestyle to. I do this like every two week but I'am writing everyday. peace

Best way is to go and get ate up by the BEST battle hungry cats you can find. The level of competition is gonna make you better. It doesnt do much for you to practice against people who suck anyway. Pay attention to what the crowd responds to because it doesnt matter who had the better skillz, battle are won by crowd reaction.

Practice rapping about stuff in your room...have somebody point at something(make it spontaneous) and rap about that for like 8-16 bars. This will help you develop critical thinking skills.
