I don't really like games in which things just leap out of nowhere and scare you to death. Is Gears of War this type of game? Is it scary at all? What's it like?

yes gears of war is scary if you are scared of big monster running after you and trying to kill you. But personally i really like the game it is a fun and scary experience. My 8 year old brother playes it and he doesnt seem to be scared of it.

No Gears of War is the best game ever. Nothing ever really jumps at you exept in one part. It is by far the best game for 360 even more so then Halo 1, 2, or 3.

The game has mild scary moments that can startle you, but the game is much more fun than scary. Alot of times you will have a team to back you up so you won't feel alone.

It really depends on how you play...play with lights on or play in the day time if possible,if you don't like resident evil (graphics) you probably won't like Gears of War...but it is one of the BEST games out!

Silent Hill and Resident evil are quite fairly scary yet i imagine eternal darkness is a authentic head screw, even as it alters the quantity on its own and the noises in the back floor quite freaked me out.

No it's not scary. The graphics are really dark, kind of dreary. It's just a tactical game, your shooting and killing monsters. There is maybe one or two parts where little creatures kind of pop out of little crevices and you have to kill them but it's not extremely scary, because it's not that type of game. It kind of reminds you of the Flood if you play the Halo series.

no i wasnt scared wen i played it and dat game was alot of fun and hopefully u shouldnt get scared it is jus a video game
