I recently rented Break Up with Jennifer Aniston and Vince Yaughn--filmed before their actual break-up. I started watching the movie with the preconception that it was a romantic comedy. But the further into the movie I got, the more sorry I felt for this young couple who were initially very much in love with one another. They, like a lot of couples, let all the "little things",i.e., the little annoyances and disagreements that couples normally have, bring their relationship to a close. I couldn't help but cry at the end. In fact, your question prompted me to look into what Aniston and Vaughn had to say about the movie and this is what Aniston said in an interview:
"[The film] is not just about pointing out how men have their downfalls, I think it's about how women too have their downfalls and how men and women communicate differently."
"And the results are due to a lack of communication, and then how things fester and grow and build--until something threatens to break the camel's back."
"People have come up to me and said it's like holding a mirror up to their relationships."
That's exactly how I felt watching the movie. It truly struck a cord.

Mr. Hollund's Opus is worth a whole box of Kleenex...I cry at lots of movies, but I certainly can't fathom crying at the end of Pee Wee's Big Adventure...silly

You bet. I cry every single time I see Creator even though I know how it ends.
The most crying I ever did was for the movie Dad. I was crying in the first 10 minutes and the story just got sadder as it went.

The Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood
I am Sam (Sean Penn actually very good in this!)
And Saving Private Ryan. I think I started crying about ten minutes into it and rarely stopped.

Many movies leave a lasting impression on you. I can name a few of the best that have made me cry: The Notebook, The Green Mile, Losing Issaiah was very heart breaking.

Yes. It was a sci-fi/fantasy movie on TV back in the late 60's/early 70's, but I cannot remember the name. I have actually spent hours and hours on the internet, but have yet to find the title of the movie.

Oh those mushy romantic movies, so I'm gonna fess up and say 'The Notebook' made me cry, as well as 'A Walk to Remember'. But I pretty much cry at everything that's sad. I cried when I watched 'Beauty and the Beast' too.

Absolutely. I bawled in Godfather 3. It was the scene at the very end when Mary (his daughter) got shot on the steps of the opera house and Al Pacino's reaction to it. I orginally saw it about 12years ago and it still gets to me today.

Only one movie:
Mambo Kings really got me. I hate seeing men cry.
Nearly cried:
Let Him Have It --- heartwrenching British film
Joy Luck Club --- Might have cried but had company
Also found Vince Vaughn's speech in the Break-up quite touching....
