They should trade that pick away for some O-linemen. Drafted a rookie Qb and then starting him with that same O-line would simply ruin yet another career. If they do opt to go with a QB, they better make it a scrambler like JaMarcus Russell, and stay away from pocket passers like Brady Quinn.

probably Jamarcus Russell or possibly Brady Quinn. Either way, they be foolish to plan on starting next year with either one of them, they might want to sign a vetern QB to take the reins next season. Or they might be wise to address other areas of concern on their team with the number one pick and pick up some other QB in a subsequent round.

Quinn or Russell, but they need a line as well. They need to rebuild and it will be several years before they are threat. New GM and coach too. the owner should take up golf for about 4 years to let the process proceed on its own.

They have two good quarterbacks to choose from, LSU's Russell and ND's Quinn. They need lots more help than that. They need coaching, an improved offensive line, better wide receivers. How did they get so bad?

they could:
1. get Jamarcus Russel
2. get calvin johnson and grab Garcia
3. get Russel and Garcia and use Garcia as a mentor ( that is probably the best idea but could put them close to going over the salery cap)
