How about a figurine that would appeal to a man...say a wizard, or perhaps a knight or sailing ship on a stand. There are inexpensive versions if you look for them.
Good luck. The main thing it your heart is in the right place.

I'll tell you what i did. I made a kind of slide show film using Windows Movie Maker (most computers have it!) about when and how we met, what we've done together, what i'd love to do with him in the future. It was free, although it did take me a little time to do, but was the most memorable present he's ever had. I will NEVER be able to top it. And just over a year ago he proposed to me! I'm sure my present helped him decide he wanted to marry me! Haha!

Make him something. Make a little picture memory album of all the things you have done together that are your favorite memories. Don't make it all flowery or lovey dovey just make it simple. Don't forget to write a few little messages here and there about when you first kissed or your first date or when you first said I love you, tell him some secrets about what you first thought about him or things like that. I guarantee he will keep it forever even if you break-up. That's part of what I am doing for my sweetie!

IMHO, really good sex. Or dress up sexy, just for him. Or fix him his favorite dinner (if you can cook). Or learn to give good backrubs. Or all of the above!
