What is the correct spelling and where can I find a picture?

I believe your talking about "chukka boots". I think that spelling is correct. These were popular men's (mostly) shoes, often suede and came up just about ankle height.

Chucka boots- they are ankle high, tan suede boots with a rubber sole and they were really popular at the time. I'm pretty sure chucka isn't the correct spelling, but I'm not sure of the correct way. Usually guys wore them, but sometimes girls too.

It's probably "Chukka boots." Try Lands' End, Timberland, or another outdoor outfitter for a picture.
