ok, so as you can see im into both football and the wnba...but i have a question, well two for YOU...i am from chicago, and i love all the teams here...but i am rooting for the colts to beat out the bears, do you think that this could be achieved? or should i lose hope? and my second question is who do YOU think will win next year's championship in the wnba? detroit shocks (my fave. team) or sacramento?

Well, first the Bears are going to have to beat the Saints, and that will be no easy task. The Saints have a trio of near superstars in Brees, Bush, and McAllister (he has been good for much longer than last Saturday's game - check his stats), and the Bears are going week to week on a quarterback who is still somewhat unpredictable. They could have easily gone down to deteat this past weekend, so who knows?
Sorry, fans in Chicago, but I truly think the Bears are the weakest team remaining in either championship match up, and won't be the least bit surprised if they begin their summer vacation next Sunday... There is your answer: no, the Bears can't beat Indy. I don't even think Indy will be there come Superbowl weekend, either.
Though I don't know too much about the WNBA because it just seems weird to be watching basketball in the summer, I still appreciate their skills, and follow a little bit because I know how hard those girls work, I don't really see any particularly dominant team that can definitely be said to be the favorite come playoff time. I will, however, say that I think Bill Laimbeer is a very fine coach who seems to have a very good rapport with his players - the first criteria to a successful coach.
Hope this doesn't upset those who believe that men and women should be treated the same under any circumstance, but if it does - tough! MEN AND WOMEN THINK DIFFERENTLY - EVEN IN SPORT, and Coach Laimbeer is one of the few men whom I believe to have quite successfully figured out how to relate to those differences. I have coached both young men and women in high school, so know myself. (I enjoyed coaching both, by the way!)
It is for that reason I, too, hope the Shock will once again be on top when it is all finished in the fall.

Watching the WNBA is like taking a Valium, Xanex and eating a whole Turkey. The Bears have to beat the Saints before they can play anyone else and I personally don't think there is a chance in hell of that happening. The Colts will probably beat the Pats, but that hasn't happened either. So basically, you question sucks balls.
