how do you tell or show someone you love them without actually saying "I love you"
I was given 12 red roses last week and to me it did not say I love you, it just said he can spend a fortune or flowers that are going to die, I wondered if it was just me being odd when I thought if he is trying to say " I love you" he could of picked a better way!

Ummm when it comes to men...they don't show their feelings very often..Flowers* are their best way to show* they LOVE you without having to say it. He may not be ready for commitment or something may be holding him back...fear of "rejection" perhaps. If you think theirs a better way for him to say I love you....perhaps tell him what you want....if it's "words" then tell him*
Or just tell him yourself that you love him... if you do,

Well. I don;t think you are being odd... probably you are just not in the mood. Personally I think that you might want to think it over bacause you have a guy who is detailed oriented enough to send you flowers. It feels sooooo great when you realize that somebody took the time to do this. It doesn't matter how expensive or cheap the gift is.
The gift itself is being that important for the other person.

12 red roses is showing you he cares deeply for you and maybe this is his way of "gradually" leading up to say he loves you. Sometimes guys want to really be sure the feeling is going to mutual before they say it. Alot of guys wait until the girls says it first. It's a guy thing I guess :)
Give him time and appreciate any guy who cares enough to give you 12 red roses! Good Luck

The words are different than actions! U can show someone u love them in any way but u wont know if its the truth when the time is right the words will come out and thats when u know. It all comes from the heart and when its ready.

He likes you. I dont know if he loves you. But liking and caring about you is a good start of a relationship. Flowers dont have to mean he loves you just yet. Dont read into anything. Flowers are just flowers, he cares for you.

Red roses are a sign of love, if you don't like flowers you might want to tell him, but then don't be one that says you never get me anything...I think your pretty selfish...

he doesn't know how to be original...if i received roses I wouldn't be soo happy..I have a ton of them in my house
just tell him how you feel
maybe that IS his way of saying I love you...or just i care for you

Do you know how many women would jump for joy if their man sent them a dozen red roses just to say I love you!!! A LOT. It is a beautiful gesture and should be appreciated not criticized.
