Yep i`d also take photo`s as their my past memories,some good,some bad.eg, pictures of my premature son could not be replaced although the images are in my head all the time,family who have passed away and stuff.I have a box full of cards and photo albums so i`d grab it and run.

Photographs and family heirlooms. I have at least one copy of all old and irreplaceable photos in a single case, although I have tried to send copies of historical photos to other interested parties as a backup.
I was fortunate to know my great-grandparents and would like to keep their memories alive in my family. Also, so many family members walked through major historical events, like the Civil War and I would like to keep a remembrance of their efforts.

I totally agree with Beth - pictures would be the first thing that I grabbed. All of the other stuff can be replaced...pictures hold memories...there is no amount of money that can get those back.

Thats a hard one.. prolly something irreplacable like photos though. Truthfully as long as had my family safe I wouldn't really care about the material stuff

Everything I've done in life is in my head... I don't need photos to remind me of the good times, so I'd grab Ted...my teddy bear that's been with me since I was born; he's even been on holiday with me , but I do blindfold him lol

The small box I have of special letters and photo's and stuff and also it has my diary in. All my memories really. I'd definately grab that first.

Welll you cant take anything electric because you couldn't plug it in........
So i think it would have to be my bear.
You can buy anything else but you cant replace a special bear!

photographs as these are the most unreplacable things i own. most other stuff could be replaced.
I guess my sky dive video from my 21st Birthday would have to be saved also...but i'm only allowed 1 thing so i can't decide!!

Family photo albums. So much of my family's history is in them.
