I need some information on the history of fast food for a project I'm doing. If you can, please provide some bad things about fast food too. Thanks.

The History Channel had an interesting series on fast food called "America Eats - History of a Bun". It is available on DVD, I believe.

It was invented by one of the 4 horsemen of the apocolypse, Famine to be precise. It is in fact a brilliant invention as it results in it's victims dying of malnutrition and obescity at the same time. Quite incredible when you think about it.

I would start your research with McDonald's, I believe they are considered the first fast food restaurant.
