All presidents get 30 days. The same was with Regan. We must have watched different news shows, because I remember Regan getting way more coverage then Ford.

US Code, Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 7 states "The flag shall be flown at half-staff 30 days from the death of the President or a former President..."
Reagan got the same, as did every President that has died before him.

You're mistaken. US flags are flown at half-staff for 30 days upon the death of a former President.
Reagan got his 30.

the different day replaced into for female fowl Johnson. yet as quickly as I see it at a million/2 group, i think of it may nicely be that way till we are out of iraq, or the three hundred and sixty 5 days 2550, whichever comes first. i additionally think of that as lengthy as bushdick is in place of work, the flag could desire to be flown upsidedown. (it is the international sign of misery, we are in situation, help us, etc.)

I was about to say b/c he was the president but now I'm stumpted. The only exciting thing Ford did was let Nixin off and thats about it. Maybe they are doing it b/c he had such a small funeral ceremoney unlike Reagons who went on for the entire day.
