Yeast or some sort of other infection? Talk to your doctor if it continues.

You probably have a yeast infection, which can be caused by lots of things. You can get yeast infections from wearing wet bathing suits for too long, wearing underwear that is too tight, wearing pantyhose without underwear underneath, eating a lot of sugary foods or drinking lots of soda, wiping back-to-front instead of front-to-back, etc. You should go to your doctor and get checked out. He or she will prescribe you either some cream that you have to use for about a week, or he/she will give you a prescription for an awesome pill called Diflucan, which you just tkae once and your symptoms clear up in about 24 hours. You shouldn't get Monistat or any other over-the-counter yeast infection meds if you're not sure that's what it is. Always go to the doctor first because those over-the-counter creams could make matters worse if it turns out to not be a yeast infection after all. In the meantime, drink a lot of water, which I find helps relieve the itching, and also wash with warm water and a washcloth one or two times a day (Don't use soap!!!!!). Hope this helps!

a yeast infection or maybe some other infection. If you are scared to go to the doctor first then go buy some monistat from the store and use it all properly and if that doesn't work then you may need to see a doctor.
It could possibly be the toilet paper you are using. Is it the really linty and soft kind? Is it dyed? You may want to switch toilet paper.

It could be a yeast infection like the others have said, especially if there is discharge accompanying the itching. It could also be an irritation to a new detergent, body wash, lotion, or new undies if they weren't washed before you wore them. You could go get the treatments for a yeast infection from the store, and if those don't work I suggest going to your doc.

It could be a yeast infection, which can be treated with over-the-counter creams such as Monistat, or it could be bacterial vaginosis, which requires antibiotics. Either way, it's a good idea to see the gynecologist for a proper diagnosis and the correct medication.

Yeast infection. Go to the Dr. - this is a common problem and they can prescribe you something. It may be costly, but trust me the over the counter stuff doesn't work as well and it will be well worth you money!! :-)
