artest, although a talented player, is way behind many others in terms of skill and ability....the likelyhood of him winning the mvp is so remote that there is hardly any reason to answer the possibility....but it seems certain stern would say something in terms of improved skills and comeback characteristics if the unlikely event happens

He would most likely do anything possible to get out of presenting the trophy to Artest. Because Artest represents everything that Stern is trying to rid the NBA of and I'm sure that is his worst fear. It would be hilarious to see.

He'd probably pinch himself and slap himself so he can wake up and realize that it's a dream....Artest isn't going to get the MVP, especially being on the Kings. But hypothetically he'd probably just shake his hand and say how proud he was of Artest for turning things around and focusing on basketball and bettering himself........???

David Stern will make sure it will never happen.
But Mark Cuban winning a championship IS possible, and Stern would have to present him the trophy, which would be very interesting.

Nothing....he will call in sick the day of the presentation and have Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver do it for him.
