On speacial occasions it is buy one get one free. You can look these dates up online. Tickets are cheaper for Florida residents, but ID is needed. Tickets are purchased separetly, but you can buy combo tickets, these are a bit more expensive, but they include food discounts(free/half-off) or incude a cheap fast pass. I have gotten this combo a few times, and am relatively pleased.

Have Fun.

the entrance fee is separate for them, but they do sell combo tickets .. . I can't begin to explain all the choices, but they include multi day and multi park (beyond just Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios) you could go on line to see if they're offering specials and they list the ticket prices there as well. Sometimes you can find soda cans with a 5 - 10 dollar discount as well.

enjoy the parks, we've had yearly passes for 10 years now ... and I still enjoy it,

I have been to Universal Orlando several times and have never heard of the "Universal Adventurer". Would you please include more details?
