No. It is a myth that you can copy as long as you credit the source.

The Associated Press will sell you limited rights to reproduce its stories on your site. At the end of each AP story on the AP Web site is a link labeled "Purchase this AP story for reprint." Click on that link for information on buying the right.

Far as I know as long as they have been released to the general public the stories are fair game, as long as you don't charge for them, and perhaps even then.
